18 U.S.C. § 2257 Record-Keeping Requirements Compliance Statement
Custodian of records statement for sexually explicit content on vchan.
1. Purpose
This page provides the compliance statement regarding 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and 28 C.F.R. Part 75 for sexually explicit content made available through vchan.
2. User-generated and third-party content
vchan operates as an interactive computer service / online platform that allows independent third-party users and channel operators to upload, publish, and share content.
For content uploaded by third parties, those uploaders are the primary producers (as applicable) responsible for maintaining records required under 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and related regulations demonstrating that all performers were eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of creation. Uploaders must also comply with our Uploader Agreement and Community Guidelines.
Where vchan is not the primary producer of a depiction, the operators of vchan may not maintain the original 2257 records for that depiction. Requests seeking records for third-party uploads should be directed first to the uploader or the primary producer identified in the content or channel materials.
3. Content produced by vchan
For any sexually explicit visual material that vchan itself produces (if any), the records required pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and 28 C.F.R. Part 75 are kept by the Custodian of Records listed below.
4. Custodian of Records
